Built on Service. Backed by Enterprise Experience.
Michael Kahn started his career learning how to take care of people.
Before he ever worked in technology, he studied culinary arts and hospitality management at Kendall College in Chicago. Restaurants teach you something fast: service gets judged in the moment, and nobody cares why the order is late.
That lesson followed him into IT.
Michael spent years in enterprise technology at firms including Netrix, xTensibility, and MBA Sales Group, working across data centers, co-location, infrastructure, and security.
In 2009, he founded Business Solutions Group, now BSGtech, in the Chicago northwest suburbs with a simple belief:
Small businesses deserve the same caliber of IT that enterprises get.
Enterprise Experience, Small Business Focus
Most small and midsize businesses can’t justify a full IT department. BSGtech fills that gap.
The team handles everyday help desk support alongside the bigger projects that keep a business running:
Managed IT and help desk support
Cybersecurity and network security
Data backup and disaster recovery
Business continuity planning
Cloud services and hosting
Hardware and software procurement
Network cabling and office infrastructure projects
Business phone systems
Accountability Clients Can Count On
Michael built his reputation one project at a time.
Clients who have worked with him for years point to the same things. He delivers on schedule. He stays on budget. And he manages the big projects himself, including full office network rewires.
Today, BSGtech supports businesses across Chicagoland, including non-profits, financial services and professional firms.
Writing About Technology for Business Owners
Michael writes the BSGtech blog, where he breaks down ransomware, firewalls, cloud software, and AI in plain terms for owners who don’t have a security professional on staff.
Work With BSGtech
If your business is tired of slow support, unclear security, or IT that only shows up after something breaks, Michael and the BSGtech team can help.
